16 orangutans in our care are desperately waiting for their release! They have perfected all necessary survival skills and are ready to live the life they deserve: free and safe from human interference in the Bornean rainforest.

In addition, several Forest School graduates, including superstar Beni, are waiting for their chance to move to a pre-release island. This is the last step on their long journey to freedom. On the island, they can hone their learned skills in a semi-wild environment, under the watchful eyes of our technicians. Only if our staff is sure that they can live completely independent from human assistance, an orangutan is ready to go home.

Will you help us release them? We need to send $100,000 to Borneo by June 30. Two generous donors have agreed to match funds dollar by dollar up to $50,000. So, we just need you to help us raise $50,000 to reach our goal!

Please donate today and double your impact instantly!

To date, BOS has released 485 orangutans. Will you help us make it to over 500 this year?
