BUT WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!
The threat is not over! Active COVID-19 cases in Indonesia are rapidly increasing by the day, putting our orangutans and staff members at high risk.
That's why we must continue to protect their health as best as we possibly can by increasing our COVID-19 testing.
Only routine antigen tests ensure that our staff stays healthy and doesn't transmit the SARS-CoV-2 virus to the orangutans.
We also carry out antigen and PCR testing on our orangutans in case there is any doubt they could have contracted the virus from interactions with their caretakers. Especially our little orphans, like Onyer and Aiko below, need their surrogate mothers close by to comfort and teach them.
